That's exactly right. Correct predictions toward the end of the tournament are worth more than at the beginning. 1 point for the first round, 2 for the second, 3 for the quarterfinals, and so on.

What's the so on?  Are the finals worth 5?  I was trying to reconcile my potential score but couldn't match it up.  Is the 3rd place match up worth points?

Four points for each of the semifinals, five points for the bronze match, and six for the final match.
