Forums - Gaming - how much do you spend on games?

I've spent more money on games this month, then I've spent the previous year. I've bought rayman legends, call of duty ghosts, battlefield 4 and I also pre-ordered infamous:second son. that's around $210 for the month. I usually don't spend that much money on games in a month, but there's nothing else I want until the fall, when watch dogs and the new batman game come out. I've also downloaded deadnation, and that medicore space shooter on playstation plus. I'm going to make all of these games last around 6 months. So,my question is how much money do you usually spend on games. Do you spend alot in one month, then not that much for awhile, are is it just on a game to game basis?

I've spent less than $600 on games in my entire life. Yes, that includes the systems as well.

$150 of those were in the past 3 months...

October is usually the most expensive month, November the same but subsidized by October trade ins.

Btw with your user name, why didn't you get Dark Souls 2! That and Infamous is it for me this month. Although my 4 year old keeps nagging me about the lego movie video game. Damn commercials, he already has 7 lego games to play on 4 different systems. When I was his age we didn't even have color tv.

Not enough. Sony is still losing money.

Looks like we need to pick up our game. Quite literally even.

Since January I've probably spent roughly 3 thousand dollars or so.

Won't be near as bad though for the rest of the year as over 2000 of it was on my PC alone.

I usually spend 60-80 dolars per month on console games and I don't buy too much on steam, except for crazy discounts in games I never considered to own at physical or never really cared. I buy every Sony/Nintendo console, planning to buy wii u this year and 3ds the next one, so that should increase the spend on nov/dec.

Over £400 since December. This includes games and gaming merchandise. It's my passion!!

Anywhere from $200-600 depending on what games and consoles come out each year. Console games I'll usually buy new and when they come out, but most of my games are on PC, and those games I get on Steam when they are on sale as kind of impulse buys lol

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Looking at a whole year, perhaps somewhere between $100-500. Not more than that. It would be something like $10-40 a month. Including consoles, games and everything in between.

Like I said before in another thread, sometimes I sped $0 on games in a month, and some months I might want to buy several games at once.
