I do not know about the rest of you but I loved Outlast and Daylight promises to be an interesting game with the randomly generated world. I am very excited for this game next month! Am I alone or do more of you intend on picking this up? If so are you going to grab it on PC or PS4? Only 22 days to wait!

Daylight is an upcoming survival horror video game. It is set to release for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows in April 2014. It is being developed by Zombie Studios, and powered by Unreal Engine 4.

Gameplay

Daylight is a survival horror video game played from a first-person perspective. The player does not have access to weapons; their only tool is their camera recorder, which is also their sole light source. The game features procedurally generated levels so that no two environments are the same.^[2] The plot is centered around a woman who regains consciousness in an abandoned hospital with no memory of how she got there. With her cell phone, she must explore the haunted hospital and its criminal past in order to escape.

Me! I enjoyed Outlast and Daylight sounds very similar. I also like the fact that I get to play a woman. Nice little added bonus :)

Has no effect either way to me, maybe I will change my mind after playing it. It being randomly generated is what makes it interesting to me, you can memorize Outlast so that hurts the experience but you can not memorize Daylight because it is never the same. I hope it has a platinum trophy....

This is actually like Dead Island 3 isn't? Same developer, same concept. If yes, then I'm not excited at all, as the original Dead Island was okayish I guess, but not great, not even good imo.

Sony has a better relationship with Indie devs than MS and Indies are on PC because of the open SDK. I think this is planned to be a timed exclusive like Blacklight though
