Too bad there's nothing for Windows phones...

The marketshare of WP is too small for game developers to care. I own one as well as my second phone.

I rarely play mobile games and only the free ones. I dunno about you but I don't get the same feeling when playing mobile games than playing with an actual console.

Of course mobile gaming is bad compared to console gaming but its nice way to pass time when you're out and there's nothing else to do.

I know, but even if Windows had 10-15% of the marketshare, I doubt Google would support Windows OS. Google and MS just don't like each other.

Well, Google has it's own OS to look after, regardless of market share. You don't see Apple lending a hand to Android or vise-versa.

Yeah, but the whole point of this thread was to state that now Google will give iOS some form of support.

I am not sure how this is the fastest growing mobile platform in history when took them over 5 years to gross $1.3 billion, which is less than iOS app store's first year on the market.

Maybe they did all this last week. That really would be fast!

Seriously though, "growth" is becoming a nebulous term, what with press releases boasting about marketshare, and companies who don't have obvious income streams (like twitter) actually being on the stock market. A huge userbase full of delicious floggable data is as good as currency these days.
