Forums - Gaming - Titanfall: Microsoft Boasts “Hundreds of Thousands” Playing the “Most Anticipated Game of the Year”

I think they mean hundreds of thousands online at a given time, hotshots.

"hundreds of thousands have been playing since Tuesday when it launched in the US."  Sounds more like hundreds of thousands of sales.  Even if they're talking about hundreds of thousands online at a given time, the game is online only and it just came out.  I'm sure peak hours probably had every single player at one point.  Well.  Except for those who couldn't get online on the Xbox One because of the online issues it's been having for the past few days.

You mean for less than 1 day. Not "past few".

lol amazing for a last gen game !!!! :)

That's cold blooded.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

Nope.  Past few is right.

*edit*  Okay, it was fixed on the 12th then.  So except for the people who couldn't get online on Titanfall for one of the past few days then.

Definitely not the most anticipated game of the year.

They talked about this on the latest CAGcast which was posted March 12th 3:00AM.  So March 11, 12, 13, and 14.  Four days.  Three or more makes it a few.

The only thing I got so far from watching twitch streams is that the PC streams are a lot more fun to watch than X1 streams. It seems X1 players can't pull as many moves at once due to how the game controls so it looks more like CoD while the PC players are fucking everywhere and move much faster in general.

And I thought Destiny was the most anticipated game of the year. Thanks MS for clearing that up.

Unless of course they mean for themselves because Titanfall is a lot more important for them than for gamers.
