Is the Wii U still C$299?

I live in Canada and so far yes. Only Sony is taking advantage.

So in Canada you can get a Xbox One with Titanfall for C$499 and a PS4 with no game for C$449. I wonder how many people are going to buy a Xbox One instead of a PS4 in Canada now

Explain how Sony is "taking advantage".

Or in your strange world, is not selling something greatly below manufacturing costs "taking advantage"?

PS3 sells amazing, raises prices to take advantage.

I agree that this a shitty thing as Sony is unable to afford to eat the cost of this as MS is. But don't you think your being a little over dramatic about this?  Your not a Sony fan so it really doesn't affect you. Plus, aren't you the one who has bragged about MS not dropping the price on the X360 since 2008?  Your obviously a fan of a higher price tag when it suits your agruement relative to sales. Or is this just about Sony not getting enough negative flack on the issue itself and you want to spread the word as much as possible ?    The console market itself in Canada is not that big. This is very small piece of the pie..

Even though other outlets are still charging the raised rates it's interesting to see "The source" this week go back down to the $399.99 rate along with Infamous SS at $59.99.

Damn, I just paid CAD 67.99 for Infamous SS at Microplay.
