Yea Vesperia had the better cast of the two.

I have Abyss for the 3ds.It's okay sure not the best though.

ToV for me. I like it so much that I spend 200 hours on my 1st playthrough, you might think I'm joking but I am serious.

I wish I played Vesperia, everyone goes around saying it's the best and I never played it .

From the ones I played the winners for me would be Symphonia and Graces F. I have yet to beat Xillia but it could be my favourite yet! Abyss was great too but I take prefer the other 3.

I also played the older ones, Phantasia, Destiny, Legendia, Innocence. I liked them but the modern ones are way better.

Tales of Vesperia IMO was the best! Absolutely my favorite protagonist in all JRPGs. He followed a wonderful complementary set of characters as well. Set pieces, overworld, and story were all nicely done as well.

It's the only one I've played, outside Symphonia 2, and it's Vesperia.

But Xillia captivated me, and I'm planning to purchase a Ps3 for that game alone, so that might be a strong contender.

I agree.the modern ones are better.I played Vesperia in Japanese on the PS3.Trust me you would love it.

Vesperia is the best Phantasia come in 2nd position IMO.
