Is 720p to 792p noticeble?

Sure 11 12.79%

Not at all 39 45.35%

On a 100" LED @ 1ft 11 12.79%

I'm blind 5 5.81%

What my commander said 1 1.16%

Depends on the console I support 8 9.30%

I don't play graphics, g... 8 9.30%

Total:83

We've had several articles and threads about how the difference between 720p to 1080p (125% more pixels) is negible. So from 720p to 792p (21%) must be void, right? Besides being an odd res and linearly 10% better (the same percentage kinect and os take from gpu and cpu).

So if few extra pixels are worthless (but taxing to the system) what would you preffer to be done instead of pixel count? Smoother framerate, better lightining, better texture, better AI (some beta players complained about dumb bots) maybe cheaper game (mp focussed and less investment in graphics)?

What is your take?

Having more players than only 6v6... Like what the fuck... I get Titans and NPCs but what the fuck... Only 12 people? So bad

I will give my take.

Respaw is trying to up the resolution to 900p FXAA or 1080p noAA with post launch patch... so the resolution difference is not negible for them.

From 792p with drops to single digits to 900p/1080p with a stable framerate?

I wish them good luck...

Why would they if the fanbase said 720p almost equal 1080p? And why bother to go from 720 to 792 and not use the time for more important things?

Would be better to have 8v8 maybe with less npcs. Maybe when they began development they tought they wouldn't sell much and preffered to have faster lobs. It isn't far from EA a DLC to have bigger player count, maybe bundling a bigger map to hide the greedyness.

Well they will drop the MSAA that impacts the performance... so I think it will be a trade.

Honestly I dont even know why respawn is even trying. X1 owners dont care about graphics, that is what they say, is all about the gameplay, even if the frame rate drops to single digits. Just lower the resolution to 720p and make the framerate better.

So its going to look worse?? Hopefully they didnt mess up the PC version.

Worse? Not... I prefer 1080p without AA than any FXAA or 792p with MSAA.

So for me it will look better.
