I said this many times before, because this specific team of ppl who got fired was working on a new IP (reports indicate for over 3 years) and aparently hadnt got anywhere yet and/or had developed a very bad game so Sony decided it was better to drop the project and start anew wich obviously resulted in the team that was working on said project beein fired.

This is pretty much how it goes, if you fail at your job you get fired.
