Twilight Princess's GameCube sales almost makes up for the difference you have here. Zelda trounces Uncharted in the handheld arena, though that may just be due to Vita's failure, while also having some successful spin-offs and remakes. Uncharted seems to be quite consistent and remains a hyped franchise within the gaming community, while Zelda has it's ups and downs both in popularity and sales.

Anyway, both amazing series, Zelda's remains my all-time favorite, but Uncharted is pretty much the best thing to come out of the 7th Gen.

No, Uncharted is not the bigger franchise. To be the biggest it would have to beat the Zelda series sales and it doesn't.

But, it might beat it in the future when Uncharted 9 comes out.

I am not sure if it is bigger than Zelda overall (under another circumstances, probably not), but I think PS4 Uncharted is going to destroy WiiU Zelda saleswise.

Zelda is more well known especially outside the gaming community, but Uncharted sells better now so it depends on how you define "bigger".
