Like who lol?
Sony or Nintendo? Do you seriously believe they care about "games"? Actually Nintendo (and its executives) may cares a bit but Sony does not, not at all. Sony is another corporation like many and the only thing they care about is share prices :) Get real lol
OP: How many of those recycled anti-Microsoft topics are you posting per day? Seriously, give it a break now.

I'm sure he has plenty to say, just that if people above him want to keep xbox, then it stays. If they wanted it gone it would go.
I'm rolling my eyes at you thinking he has more say than the people he works for. SMH.

No he doesnt, but he is the one that is gonna present the progress reports to them. He can definitly recommend it to the board if he wants.

To be fair, he didnt say he has nothing to say on the matter, just that he doesnt have the final say.
Most big companies have long term strategies and goals. If Xbox helps MS attain these goals then it will stay no matter what Elop wants. He will then be tasked with making it more successful and unlike the whole Nokia ordeal, this would be a pretty straight forward task.

Thats true. The question is what will be the new administrations strategy for Microsoft. We have heard reports that the new CEO wants to focus on the core businesses though. We wont ever get to know for sure.

The progress will be what it is, he can't skew the figures for his liking. It will be a a well thought out and researched decision to kill off xbox, so whatever the leader of that divison wanted, either for it to stay of to be killed off, if it actually got to the point of dicussing, how he reports to the board is worthless.
He is a puppet. Little more.
Nokia was doomed, now X1 is. I wonder if he will find some investors to buy the failed system. Nintendo would have the money and they could buy back Rareware this way.
