Well I got the game and been playing it, and so far im dissapointed :(

It actually looks a really good game, but its so imbalanced, after about 20 games (playing either side) im yet to see the Zombies win a game : /

I thought it was unbalanced at first, but its not.  The zombies are harder to play as but as a team theyre much more effective and theyre individually great.  It is harder to win as the zombies but PvZ bases wins off each individual garden, thats why you get coins for winning in each garden and pushing forward.  Just like Rush on BF, its harder winning on offense than it is on defense but with the correct team work you should be able to do it.  Its a rush when you have a team that can do it.

Anyways, im loving the game.  Very skill based and very team oriented.  The best thing about the game is how it doesnt take itself too seriously with the colorful world and the fun music in the back ground. Id prob give it an 8.5 and ive already played it for 17 hours.

Game is an absolute blast

Literally just won as the zombies a moment ago. Recorded a few clips in the game that ill post shortly. Went 40/18 Vanquish KO(K/D) with 11,000 points. Its all about team work. If you dont play it like an objective game and just sit back, youre going to lose

Havent given up on it yet, I do like the game itself. So hopefully the balance issues will I feel there are will pass with experience :)

These clips arent displaying Kills but it is tips to win. These are from my last two games, im using the foot soldier in all of them

1st Clip we all compile in the garden as a team to where I use the stink cloud to blind the enemies on one side.  The rocket jump i use to get away from chile bombs while shooting at anything else i see.  I also use the rocket jump anytime i feel like im in trouble

2nd Clip you can see I have to walk up the hill with potatoes coming at me.  This is because the engineers on my team were not doing their job by giving us a teleporter which costs us valuable time.  Again this is why it is important to have a team oriented team.

3rd clip is just showing you that we won anyways

4th clip Its a shame i didnt get the whole clip but what you see me do here is i spawned to zombies before going forward.  I walked slowly behind them while they were bait.  I also watched for potato mines and once again used the stink cloud as a blinding cover.

5th clip  The plants had a pretty good defense in this game so going up the middle wasnt going to work.  The foot soldiers are able to get to high locations and can help support the team by flanking with the rocket packs.  Always hit them where they least expect it.

The thing to remember while playing on offense is that youre going to die.  But if you play correctly and as a team you should be able to win and be able to kill lots at the same time.

I haven't noticed any balance issues yet. My first few games was on the plants side and we couldn't win a game to save our life. It was only because no one seemed to know what to do or what their role was. After a few rounds I started to get used to the roles of each character and then we dominated a few rounds without losing any gardens.

The only thing I've noticed so far is that a lot of players still want to just play every character the same way and don't take into account the strengths/weaknesses they have. We had a group playing as cacti and just rushing headfirst into firefights like they were close quarter fighters. Hard for the lone sunflower (me n_n) to heal all those dead players.

Things will start to become clearer when the game has been out a little longer. Then the main player base will be used to their roles and we'll get a better idea of which, if any, characters are over powered.
