Their desperation to shift stagnant stock in europe is starting to show.
Hardware and software there has slowed to concerning rates, if they dont boost the performance soon they feat itll go the way of the WiiU (retailers would rather take a hit on hardware profit margins and potentially boost software sales then risk having a store room full of idle stock.

I had no clue that the XB one was performing that bad.. This is a gigantic price cut for a console that's only in the market for a few months

This is Gamestop trying to pull pre-orders from Amazon. After MS ships it to retailers they can set it at whatever price they want. This situation is just retailer competition.

Amazon could price match tho.

I reckon it has 0.5% market share.

I didn't even know there was one until a few months ago so you're probably right.

Huh, wonder why retailers aren't undercutting each other on PS4? Oh that's right they don't have suplus stock they need to move. Yeah, retailer competition is the ONLY reason Xb one is being discounted.

Ok people! The lack of demand is a fact! It's not just competition, the retailers are trying to move the console from shelves.

MS need to release in new markets. The big 13 are already saturated.Sony is taking control of the asians and european countries that Xone was not released yet.

Ditto. I found out because of their £40 PS4 controller deal. Their PS4 deal is £330.

They are trying to build up business and by using their 'profits' from US make it more desireable to shop there in the UK. Not sure if they are having much success.

Hmm, pie.
