well, ps4 is selling faster than any console before. if sony can keep that up for 10 years surely it will outsell ps2. ..or it could just be very front loaded sales. i'm hoping it outsells ps2 though cause that would be awesome!

ps3's launch was better than the ps2, and the ps3 didn't sell nearly as well. It's to early in the game to make this prediction. Could it sell 200 million? Possibly. Could it sell less than 100? Possibly. We need to wait at least a year or two to even begin predicting what it could come to.

Dont think it gonna happen since console face hard competition from mobile device. If ps4 keep up with ps1 level, I consider it a succeed. :)

I agree. The PS4 isn't defined by one generation. The PS4 defines all generations.

Thats like 15M per year assuming the PS4 last a decade. In this multiplat enviroment of 2014 I don't think so.

I think it will outsell PS1, and perhaps Game Boy, but not PS2
