But two of my favorite games i played last year was Capcom-games

This is not true, but it does weight, at least in me. I took so much time to buy this gem (which is one of my favourite games of the seventh gen) just because it was made from Capcom:

I guess. My view is more if I liked it and it was good before then more of it is usually a good thing, but i understand the opposite point of view - lots of people would say DW8 is shit because it's fundamentally the same game as DW2 even if it has changed it many, many ways

Out of curiosity which games did you have in mind when you made this point?

What are those? Capcom made one of my favorite games of all time (okami). But recently they are going down.

Resident Evil 4, Ocarina of Time? Frequent re-releases are a sign of demand, don't you think? You don't exactly see Sega parading out the newly revamped definitive edition of Sonic 2006 every few years.

As for Capcom games, Monster Hunter and Ace Attorney beg to differ.

Didnt got to play dragons dogma but I heard its great. BTW that game cover of a good game is "ruined" by the pic of a bad game. Resident evil 6.

I dont own 3ds so these two games didnt came to mind before putting capcom's name. Thanks for mentioning them.

Hmm, I'd argue HD ports have a good reason to exist, especially to allow people to experience older games - I personally am looking forwards to picking up quite a few different HD collections now I have a PS3, because having never owned a PS2 I missed Shadow of the Collossus, ICO, Zone of the Enders etc. Also hardcore fans like their favourite games to be improved even if only graphically and like it when they become higher profile for a time

As for SFIV, I can see the logic behind this more as there's little that couldn't be added in a patch, so it's essentially a throwback to the days of the arcade when you had to buy each new revision as an arcade owner. That said at least Capcom don't charge full price if you're upgrading from a previous version
