Can't flog a dead horse. Especially when prices has actually gone up, not down.. Its not going to entice anyone to buy it. Also, not so much in good, worthwhile games for the us western gamers. Sorry Vita owners!

Vita games are simply too much money in today's gaming. Cant beat mobile with that price model.

That's not the reason for the poor sales, though.  If it were, 3DS would be selling equally as bad as Vita.

This was pretty much expected to begin with.
This version is not just only under-appreciated but also came in Black only, colors gave a great boost to it in Japan, add to that zero games accompanying the release. (Danganronpa and Toukiden are one week after and with no system selling power).

I was actually interested in changing my OLED model for this new one since I'd much rather take the battery life & ergonomics over the screen.

But at the price they launched at, I'll hold onto my OLED model. It's ludicrous what they're charging.

Supermarkets and bigger retailers stopped stocking Vita a long time ago, so it's literally just dedicated game stores and online retailers swapping one item of stock for another. Haven't really seen any of them advertise it either; and since there's no software launching there was no reason for sales to increase.

The Vita was 105€ on Amazon Germany a few times.. Wonder what the 2000 will cost.

Does anyone know if the 2000's analog sticks are as shitty as the original Vita's?
