Forums - Gaming - Which game will sell the most in 2014? Combined multi platform counts

Either the next iteration of call of duty or destiny.

Around the Network

GTA 5

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Mario Kart 8

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

Destiny is the obvious dark horse with a real shot. MK8 should do well for Wii U, but Wii U needs to pick up sales. 3DS may have a big unannounced title that may sell big. Titanfall should do fine. Watch_Dogs will be a hit. But really, it's COD:2014 with Destiny having an outside shot.

Destiny is a good bet.

Destiny

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Aww, I wanted to say cod :(

^Yes that's me ripping it up in the GIF. :)

Watch Dogs.

The WiiU release ought to give the game a slight edge in sales over Destiny -- not to mention the fact we'll likely see Watch Dogs come out sooner than Destiny.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Not COD as thats declining fast, just look at how little Ghosts did compared to Black Ops.

So next Assassin's Creed. I want Watch_Dogs to do it though

Ghost failed compared to Black Ops mainly because of the Next Gen transition. But it still sold plentifully.

Assassin's Creed is on a decline too. But the sales aren't as high to begin with.

So it failed because it has only sold 18 million in 3 months compared to Black ops 2 23 million in 15 months? That's hardly a failure, give Ghosts another year and then look at the numbers, they'll be pretty close in the end. Titanfall or Destiny will be top dog in sales this year.

I'm not putting down COD in my post, I'm actually defending it.
