Indies, have you seen a graphic intensive game developed by an indie that couldn't be played on the 360 or ps3?

The only reason that we theoretically can't play them is because of the ps eye or kinect

New hardware means more than pretty games to me.
Like with ps4 it's the policy they want to give more games a chance like we are seeing now with indies and some f2p games.



Well, you need to play them on the newest hardware if It's only of the newest hardware. But, you could put them on PS360 if you made the graphics worse. If there's too much content for PS360 to handle, then I guess a sequel or DLC could fix that.

if i catch your verbage correctly,...

 

...the only reason we can't play them on 360/ps3 is because the system architetures are too different from PC for ports to be easy or cheap enough for most indie studios to be able to justify the effort.  on ps4 the techical difficulties have been minimized enough to make ports much more feasible for indies.
