Forums - Sony - Anybody else remember the original Resistance: Fall of Man trailer?

So, do you think that R2 will finally match and exceed this?

Do you think it will surpass the dozens of guys on screen at a time, the cars flying around from explosions, and the fluid animation of the Chimera found in this trailer?

I think it will. I mean, they've already announced 60 man online. I can't wait to see a trailer this week. :D

I was really blown away by that trailer during that e3,I remember the game was called I-8 or something, I haven't actually played resistance yet, so I don't know the differences, but I'm kind of sad that it didn't live up to the trailer.

It did live up to it for the most part.  The game was maxed at about 40 people on screen at a time, and the animations were a lot stiffer.

Actually, I may edit the OP a bit.

Of course it'll look better than that.... there's sometihng I don't like about that old trailer though...

Thats not a trailer, its actually an early version of the game.

I'd say that the dumb AI in that vid is because they tried to put too many characters on screen, and the retail version has fewer because of that.
