I'm actually really interested in this movie

EDIT: And after watchting the trailer... I'm officially hyped!

That's the uncanny valley at it's finest.

They have still 2 years to slightly alter character designs though I don't see the problem. Heck in action (see trailer) it looks like a very good movie. And they probably target mostly new audiences who don't know about Sly. Revoke the popularity with the new generation of people as well as luring some gamers who loved the gamefranchise. Same for R&C and if they do well with boxoffice I see a Jak & Daxter movie in 2017 and three movie animation franchises added for Sony.

i would normally say this is going to spend years in production hell and never happen like almost all other video game films, but i'm surprised there's already a teaser.

the CG characters are really iffy looking. i hope they're improved on, in Sly's case it kind of looks like they're trying to make him look realistic, like he's almost an actor or something. i just hope the writing is good.

also that does not sound like Kevin Miller as Sly.  that's going to be a serious issue imo. 

How is there already an official trailer for a film that's releasing 2 years from now? I thought the Hobbit trailer was early, and that was just 12 months prior to release, but this...?

Is this where I get on the hype train!!?!! Can't wait for this movie, and I bet this will boost sales of the PS4 as well especially for the casual / family audience

I'm glad Sony are doing more with Ratchet & Sly though. They deserve it.

I'd be excited if it didn't look terrible. It's not faithful to the visual style of the series at all.

I played Sly Cooper 2 a long time ago. I didn't get far, and I barely remember. I guess I'll keep an eye on this.
