Forums - Gaming - [Poll] Is your tv 1080p or 1080i?

Which is it?

1080p 342 89.30%

1080i 39 10.18%

Total:381

Have an old (paid like $3,500 10 years ago)55 inch Hitachi plasma that is 1080i. We have the Wii and a bluray player hooked up to it.

Have a 6-7 year Sony 42 inch 1080p flat panel that the 360 is hooked up to.

Have a 3 month old Vizio 70 inch 3d 1080p smart tv that the XB1 and PS3 are hooked up to. It replaced the Sony. I can't believe how good the picture quality is compared to my old Sony. It truly is awesome and the 3D is great on it. My brother has a new Samsung 65 inch and it has the active 3D, but the passive 3D on my Vizio looks just as good or better.

It is near the end of the end....

1080p 40" Sony Bravia LCD

3 1080p TVs here, but I prefer my 1440p monitor.

I have no idea. I know it does HD and that's good enough!

When I lived with my parents (+5 years ago), I was stuck with 1080i.

When I moved out I upgraded to 1080p.

I need to get a 1440p monitor one of these days tho.

I have a 55" 1080p LED 3D LG. I got it last year around February for $750. IMO February is a better time to get new tv's than Black Friday.

32" 1080p Sony Bravia TV which i got in August 2012 for £400 I think

Sony Bravia 1080p 42 inch LCD

Samsung 1080p 42 in. LCD

I purchased both for gaming.

50", 1080p, 3D Panasonic Plasma (2013)

Unless you have a five years olds TV... for sure you have a 1080p... you can't find 1080i anymore in the market.
