Exactly what i thought and why i was shocked when i read about the mestone being just 4 mio small.

This game has sold constantly 30-50k since until now the sales dropped.

40weeks x 40k =1.6 mio.

+ it was heavy bundled.

This should be closer to 6 mio than to 4 without digital sales.

Where are you getting just over a year? TLoU has barely been out for over 7 months now.

It'll be around a year old once E3 rolls around, which is where I expect Sony to announce total sales with digital for the game once they also announce the PS4 version. :P

Oh crap my bad! Well that adds to my argument. This guy is expecting 6 million sales plus digital in 7 months that even more crazy.

1)I have expected 6 million overall sales until now(including digital copies)

2)how the hell can you say this game has no legs.

You will find it until now in the charts (it is stll no 45. in the charts.i was wrong as it is not 40 but just 33 weaks,therefore i adjust my 6 mio down to 5.7 mio(incl. digital).

btw -what's so crazy to expect average weakly worldwide sales of 40k on a system that sold 80mio times??especially with holidays this number .

3) if the game had no legs there already would have been a huge price cut.No huge price cut=sells well.

4)Battlefield3 sold on ps3 almost 7 mio lifetime(retail) and had almost similar opening sales.Considering that average tlou sales will go down to sub20K this years and insignificant sales next we should get a similar result.

In your earlier post you said 6 million without digital. With digital changes the whole argument because then your expectations are optimistic but not unreasonable. So can we clear that up first?
