I'm surprised that people thought there was a chance it would release this year. They haven't even announced anything yet. We'll probably get a big reveal near E3 and it will launch next summer.

Oh geez here we go again with the assumptions that they meant none of them will be released in 2014!! Sorry, but I'm almost 100% sure ND are aiming for November 2014 launch for uncharted ps4. It will have been in development since around december 2011 and january 2012 so a 3 year development time. Not to mention the ps4 is much easier to work with than ps3. Could I be wrong???? YES!!! But i'm still 100% sure it will release in 2014. And they have the flexibility from Sony to delay if they need to though as evidenced from TLOU.

Exactly. I hate when people act like developers can just wave a magic wand and bring masterpeces into existence.

The last main Halo game came out in 2012; the last Naughty Dog game was in July. Trying to make it this year would be a bit ambitious, even for ND.

Nd has 2 teams though, they have been working on uncharted ps4 since uncharted 3 was done back in 2011 I think it was.

Well if you could be wrong, how are you 100% sure? It takes time to create masterpieces. I mean, it'll release in 2014 in a best-case scenario but Naughty Dog are reluctant to date in case they want to add stuff and polish. And as you say, they did it last time.

I know, but I think they'll want to put more time into this game consideing how cautious they are franchise fatigue. I want it to come in 2014 too, but not at the expense of less-then-fantastic reviews. I want Naughty to be able to make the best game they can possibly make.
