We could argue it didn't have as much competition

edit: i mean bioshock is released to early in 2013

You could, but you'd be wrong. There is a reason why most games release in November and not during the summer draught.

This game has performerd magnificently in both sales and critical acclaim.

99% of the Goty winners are released in the sept-okt-nov-dec, thus you can conclude games released outside the this period have a disadvantage in these awards

lol that's how you conclude things.

Show me an example besides this game where that has been the case?

Well deserved! Game of all time :)

Theirs 80 million PS3's ...The game just broke 4 million. It's not "game of the generation for most who had a PS3" Highly overated game , good game but not great and diffently not game of any generation.

Mario Kart Wii is the obvious game of the generation.

WII SPORTS!

Yes, because there are now far more "gaming media" outlets than ever (most of which are just somebody's website).

That doesn't hold any bearing on whether or not TLOU is "the best game of all time". I'd say it most certainly isn't, even if you just count other exclusives from Sony consoles.

Every yearly award show has this issue, game/movie/comic/tvshow/book releashed in the months before the awards has an bigger % chance

Same reason why Legend of Zeld: Ocarina of Time's score is overrated and not accurate as the highest scoring game of all time.

You're doing better ;) Unlike some!

The game is amazing. It's game of the generation for most who had a PS3, not talking about the trolls who say they own one.

A post right above you just said how you saying overrated is wrong. Most believe it deserves it, time to accept and move one.

So much butt-hurtiness that it is funny. Go celebrate the game you preffer and stop bitching because TLOU obliterated it in quality and reception.

Except the game I prefer obliterated TLOU in all those things and more OOT 99 > 95 :P

And all arguments just went..........

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

If anything, the game is underrated. The difference in number of awards shouldn't be that small.
