Ultima Sports Ltd, an English sports car manufacturer based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, might have just leaked the upcoming release of a new exclusive racing game published by Microsoft – in all likelihood, Forza Horizon 2, which has already been rumored to be in development.

The leak appeared on the official Facebook page of Ultima Sports, noting that their successful relationship with Microsoft continues after being included in both Forza Motorsport 4 and 5, and that they have just signed a new contract with Microsoft for their cars to be included in a “new video game to be launched later in 2014″.

It’s also important to note that the Facebook post has been removed at some point, hinting that someone at Microsoft didn’t want them to reveal this information. Well I have mixed feelings.

Yes, Horizon is now officially labelled as its own franchise and not part of the numerical Forza Motorsports. X1 will have a 2014 racer to rival that of PS4's drive club. Its another exclusive to bolster the X1's lists.

But at the same time I feel pulling a COD and alternating between two versions of the same IP with 2 developers will make the Forza name too constant in the eyes of the public, which can be negative.

But hey, if it scores well and sells a million+, there really isn't anything to complain about.

Oh Awesome. Horizon was the PGR teams return to form. Its good to see the developers of Project Gotham Racing ( Or the majority of them ) still able to evolve that PGR feel to their games. Horizon will look absolutely beautiful. The map in Horizon and the different times of day etc proved that Forzas engines have always been dynamic. And dirt, night and Rain? all fit Horizon perfectly.

Well done Microsoft. Im buying day 1.

They need to fix the issues from the first game to get me interested. Stop the forced free roam, let me decide if i want to drive there or just start the race. Don't stop me from racing any of my cars, i unlocked the 599xxe before my second wristband but there were no races to use it in for ages.
