LMAo at this, and xbox fans do not?? Every exclusive for xbox  is praised as the next killer app see Titanfall.  Just check out a selnor thread lol.

Titanfall has meaningful buzz generated from gamers in general. The game is made by Ex-Infinity Ward devs and it is also on PC. We hype exclusives too, but nowhere close to the level Sony fans hype. I will admit here and how they are masters of hyping themselves up. I wish I can be as excited about my favourite games half as much as they can with my keyboard. Seriously.

Another thing....we remember our missed opportunities, both critically and commercially. Too Human failing....Alan Wake not selling as much as it could have. Try and find a PS fan acknowledge Starhawk today.....:P



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Overhyping is a different issue, but it comes from all fan bases it's just that Sony fans are the majority of sites like GAF so sometimes it looks the worst. What do you want them to do when the game comes out and it sucks? Do you want them to defend the game (some do that)? Do you want them to express their disappointment (some do that also)? But do you seriously expect them to talk about it as much as they would have if it turned out to be a great game?

I do agree that it is natural for a group to only focus on the good and look to the next thing out of necessity. You are also right in that it is their sheer majority in internet numbers and posting zeal that makes them stand out a lot more then they should.

There are lots of Sony fans that acknowledge failures. Also you don't represent the whole MS fanbase (you are the king, but still). Look at how many threads Selnor created defending Ryse.

Look buddy, its called common sense, and it depends on you not living under a internet rock for the past year. Online popularity surveys, the general consencus of the comments section of any X1/PS4 article, whether individual or when pitted against eachother. I don't know what to tell you if you insist on playing the blissfully ignorant card. Cut the BS and lets move forward with the basis that PS fans are numerically superior.

Because frankly, the idea of Xbox and Nintendo fans being more numerous, even as a XBox fan myself, is laughable.
