If I recall correctly in their last fiscal year Nintendo made a very small profit (like 6 million dollars) helped by some currency thing.

Sony made a profit but only because they sold one of their buildings.

Playstation will probably pass the Wii U when it gets released in Japan.

PS4 is profitable, Sony is not. I think they had a terrible year in TVs and movies, and lost a lot of share in mobile.

After China news, Nintendo even achieved a greater market cap than Sony as a whole.

Because net income Q1-3 is 93billion yen. And Q4 is the biggest quarter for any electronics company + the fact that their ps4 launch was very successful + they probably put a big chunk of their R&D expenses for PS4 in Q3. So I made an highly probable guess that Sony will be profitable for 2013.

They have had 0 mobile share for a while now... not "lost a lot of share"
