Forums - Gaming - xbone will win and here's why: chalkboard edition

The first image is not showing up, but props for putting so much efforts into it!

- You should remove the follogin items: TV!, Cloud, Family share and Sports
Those were available at launch (or manipulation of buzzwords in the case of cloud) ... we all saw how that turned out...

Then, price drop: the console is weaker, unless they lower the price BELOW the price of the PS4 I don't see how it would make much of a difference (assuming a lot of people are actually on the fence because of the price difference).. in a way you already have it, look on craigs list or ebay, people can get them with games + extra controllers under MSRP!

Kinect-less box: makes sense, but it also means some games and the whole OS needs to be designed around that possibility (it would help with the price drop and the perception of the machine, but it's not as simple as not putting it in the box and stiking kinect from the list of items included in there).

Halo 5, Titanfall and I assume Quantum Break is up there: a PS4 equivalent would be, Drive Club, Uncharted 4, Infamous: SS, The Order 1886... + constantly better multi platform titles (no, the cloud or some other secret software only bump will not fix this, demanding games will run slower on slower hardware).

I think the MS PR team has their work cut out for them, I see maybe titanfall making a big splash, but since it has not been released yet we do not know how important it will be (it has not been shown on anything else than high end PCs yet, the xb1 will not run the same version of the game people have been raving about).

I'm confused, when did the Xbox One need "Saving"? Didn't it have the 2nd best selling console release ever?

Still, it is trailing where it was leading last generation. That's definitely a downgrade.

Doing better than any $500 console I've ever seen.

And still doing worse than the competition it dominated last gen. Big picture.

Its doing better than the competition that dominated it last gen (Wii). Bigger picture.

Says who?

Tracking and logic.

However the Wii was nowhere to be found for at least a year after its initial release, Nintendo had to increase production not long after the console was introduced! quite different from the xb1 situation!

The interesting question is, will it have a gem that will make people take notice and say: I need that box, NOW! (despite all the bad press it got prior to release, for a lot of people, MS as a whole as a stigma attached to its brand).
