What I mean is right now I've got well over 2500 songs on my iPod to choose from, but right now every time I flick through them there's only one album I want to listen to - The Wall by Pink Floyd.
It's just like everytime I put something else on it just isn't that satisfying and I end up switiching back to The Wall all the time. I don't really know why, I think I just really like it after my dad bought it last week and put it on in the car. I think it helps that I've been feeling a bit down lately so an album that's all about disillusionment and isolation is in tune a little bit with how I feel right now.
This isn't the only album I've done it with, both Origin of Symmetry by Muse and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Stadium Arcadium kind of did the same thing to me. Not saying it's a bad thing, I love all 3 of these albums, they're some of my all-time favourites, I was just wondering if anyone else had had the same experience, and with what music? Also why do you think it happened?
