Which games have/had better legs than you expected? For me, It's Wind Waker HD and The Wonderful 101. I expected 60-70k for W101 and 500k with Wind Waker.

Edit: Sonic Lost World, too. I expected 200k for Wii U and 3DS for the end of 2013.

It's a cliché answer sure, but GTA 5. I was genuinely shocked as I'm sure so many where when it smashed through all previous titles to take the uncontested #1 position. I'd even go so far as to say I won't be shocked if more "open world sandbox games with heavy third person shooting and driving elements" replace the current trend of "modern military FPS with strong focus on online multiplayer" as the go to copy-cat model.

Animal Crossing is selling really well, almost 7 million with digital downloads, maybe it will outsell Wild World.

I think Fire Emblem Awakening had the most surprising legs... For a game thats made/published by Nintendo, it surprised how strong the legs were!!
