you are a semi-multi...you miss x360 to be a complete multi...

maybe you're right...

 ps3 is a good media player.

a good linux box(to play snes and mame roms).

 maybe, but i'm no sure looking at games, an average console...

Plenty of various companies made wireless controllers in the past. Nintendo made first wireless controller that worked. Now everyone's wireless. Before then not so much. Wonder why.

Microsoft made the Sidewinder Freestyle Pro motion controller. Nintendo made first motion controller that worked. (Wavebird ) Soon everyone will adapt yet another Nintendo standard. If Sidewinder was so hot why wasn't it made the controller for the original XBox? Wondering? Why?

when they design a console or a joypad they design it with games in mind.

there were many good consoles in past.

but if they failed they failed for games.

 nintendo is the number one software house in game market today.

 

that's the difference with others.

infact sony this generation will go more on first party.

because they understand that nintendo way is the way.

 

nintendo survived on ps1 and ps2.

sega not.

microsoft maybe also would be doomed but they have money to spend.  

so in the end a console maker must have good first party games.

 

infact microsoft hired many from granturismo staff for motorsport2...
