well, I guess a big factor why US downloads are in favor for free things is, that many europeans and people from other regions got an american acc. and grab demos/videos from the american store

Good point actually - I'm one of those Europeans skewing the numbers and I hadn't thought of that!  Folks in US need to set up European accounts and download stuff the week after it hits US store just for fun...

Also I got Everday Shooter today and its pretty darn good (as indeed Pixel Juice Monsters is too).  Nice break from COD4 and the like to play something that simple just for fun.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Around the Network

Glad to see PixelJunk Monsters getting the love it deserves in the EU.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Something from Japan:
Biohazard 2 (Resident Evil 2) was the best selling (PS One Classic) game last week on the JP PSN.

How do you know this?

I saw it on a japanese website called “watch.impress.co.jp“ but you can also go to JP PSN. All you need is HDTV and JP PSN account.

Biohazard 2 (Resident Evil 2) is very popular out there along with Biohazard: Director's Cut.
