Forums - Sony - REFURBISHED VITA AT 130$ (Gamestop)

Should I go with the offer ? I never bought a pre-owned console, just used games and never had issues with them.

Is it a good deal for me to purchase and probably resell it ? Would you guys do same ?

No. Support Sony and buy it new for $199 for a guaranteed working console.

If you're too cheap, then yes buy it used, but not at Gamestop. Go on craigslist or something.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

It's just in order to some money this christmas.. I already got one.
I'm just questioning Gamestop's used consoles liability.

i refuse to buy used crap from game stop..

if you buy referbished from sony you get the best deal.. my friend got a used ps3 slim a year ago for 120$ with 5 games and 2 years warenty. its a refurbished sony store or somthing check if theres one near you.

so there vitas must be just as good with bundles and deals.

The Vita is on sale here, but I can't justify buying it since it has no big exclusives coming out.  I have a PS3 to play all the other games.

Probably couldn't make too much on the resell. $130 would get me in the Vita game though. Still not enough games for me to justify the $199 entry price.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

so..... freaking..... tempting.......

I saw this today and was tempted, but the lack of future support from Sony is a little disturbing.

2013 was a bad year for Vita in the west, but 201 seems a lot more promising, we'll have plenty of localized games for the first quarter.. And hopefully some other games follow.

Its better to wait for some deals. 130$ for used console isnt really a good deal IMO.
