Last generation, Nintendo's Wii Sports capture the casual console gamers wallet at the beginning (or when all three systems released at least). So far we don't have any games like that in generation eight but Sony and Microsoft have sold a million systems in their first few days of release.

Anyway who will make the next big casual console game like Wii Sports? The console manufacturers or third parties? Or will this generation be like generation six where the biggest casual console games are the yearly edition of DDR and Guitar Hero?

I think Nintendo is feverishly working on coming up with something. They have a good track record, with not only Wii Sports but also games like Animal Crossing, NSMB, Wii Fit, Tetris and others. My money would be on them, though a third party may come up with something really innovative and make millions.

Microsoft has the best chance at it with kinect. it's just too damn expensive right now. Casuals, besides call of duty players, wont touch ps4 because of its remote. Nintendo lost its steam and casuals dont know wii u exists
