For me I have this OCD where if I associate a brand with a company I have a hard time buying it for other consoles.

Here is a few examples.

I associate Metal Gear Solid with PlayStation so I have a hard time playing it on another platform.

I associate Bungie with Microsoft so I have to have Destiny for Xbox One.

I associate Persona with Sony so again it is hard for me to see it on another platform (Though i am still excited for Persona Q xD)

Anyways does anybody do stuff like this?

it used to be that i associated fps to xbox 360, and fighting games to ps3.

I have that! I play a lot of Survival Horror games and I have series OCD with that.

The only PS2 horror games I buy are Resident Evil and Silent Hill, as well as the PS2 exclusives like Haunting Ground
I only ever buy Fatal Frame games for the Xbox, same with multiplatform horror games.

My friend says he is the same way so I was always curious to see how many people are like this haha

on does not simply play pokemon on an emulator on mobile or pc.
So I guess that's my OCD (whatever that stands for).

Meh, maybe before the DS4. Now besides the x360 controller, its all I want to use for games. All games, Injustice was pretty good on the DS4, plus COD, BF4, with some sensitivity adjustments it works great for me. Its all about the feel for me, I dont have much loyalty other than the love for video games and how the controller feels.

Kingdom Hearts III will be bought for PS4 on principle.

It's weird though. I see games like Obscure, which are like £5-10 cheaper on PS2 than Xbox but I sill buy the Xbox version because of OCD.

You know it is best not to try and correct someone on something when it isn't meant to be taken literal.  Just a way of explaining it.  When you correct people like that it just annoys them.
