People have gotten around steam though. Well, you can pirate the single player not multiplayer part of the game but if it's a game worth its salt on the PC then the SP should be phenomenal.
And as a PC fan I have not been WOWed by any consoles games with the exception of:
-The Wii games with motion controls
-JRPGs
-Fighting games
2 of those 3 cannot be done on the computer and the other one just never ever had a good come out on the PC in that genre. I remember when Blizzard ported Starcraft to the PS2. I don't know if it was them that did the actual porting or some other company(Doubt it) but as far as I hear it just plain sucked on a console. The biggest insult for a game on the PC is that it has been tainted by the smell of consoles. Unreal Tournament 3 was exactly that. The moment the more experienced players picked it up they realized that the game had been made primarily for the PS3 and not the PC.
