The first half of last gen the Wii dominated and the second half the PS360 dominated. Almost twice as many consoles sold in gen 7 than 6 and the generation was much longer than gen 6. so I ask you, was there really two generations going on?? Was the Wii its own generation and the PS360 its own generation?

If anything its the other way around. Our "next-gen" only feels like half a next-gen. (in regards to the title).

You make an interesting point though (in regards to the post). I think it was more due to the novelty of motion controls than graphical fidelity though.
