Forums - Sony - Will Folklore come to the PC?

I was watching my friend play demo of this game, and I must say I absolutely LOVED it. It looks exactly like the kind of unique game I've been looking to play for a long while. The problem here is that I don't have the spare cash to purchase a PS3 in the forseeable future, and even if I did I wouldn't drop all that money on a console for only ONE game that interests me.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to release the game on PC? Any information would be splendid.

By life end:

  • Wii- 100 million+
  • Xbox360- 35~40 million
  • PS3- 30 million
  • PSP- 30~32 million ------------- FAILURE
  • NDS- 85~90 million (Skeptical)  - FAILURE
  • NDS- 100 million+ (Optimistic) -- Success!

Foklore is owned by Sony and they only release mmorpgs on PC. Even if it wasn't Sony's, Folklore still wouldn't come to PC because it bombed horribly on PS3.

It's a pretty good game which deserved to sell better. BTW, did the game sell any better in Europe than it did in the US?

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

In the UK according to www.Chart-track.co.uk on it's first week of release it came 12th on the PS3 chart. That's not exactly great. (very poor infact)

But then I don't remember it being promoted at all, it came out at the time of the 60GB discontinue and price lowering, they could have advertised it with that.

Hmm, pie.

I had the game, but didn't like it very much so have sold it. The soul collecting was boring and the fact that you bumped at the same mini bosses each time you went back to the place was annoying and even more annoying was that if you wished to use both characters, you'll end up defeating the same bosses. Story, atmosphere, sound and graphics were amazing but game-play totally screwed it for me and in the end that's the most important thing to me in a RPG game.

I played and i loved it, i mean, it has a very uniqued storyline, and sucking the soul out of those thing is priceless. But must of the time, you will be running around doing noting but, speaking with people and all that stuff. Another thing is the load time, every time you move, it will "now loading" so. Better rent it.

Ps: I wont come to Pc. Sorry.
