Forums - Sony - It has been a good JRPG week for me

So It's been awhile since i've had some disposable income, and I havent been able to buy many games at all in the past year or more.  FINALLY i seem to have caught up with everything and decided to treat myself!

1.)  I started off by Pre-ordering FFX/X-2 HD Limited Edition (releases on March 18th) and am PUMPED for that :D

2.) Bought Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen (Physical Copy, not the PS+ copy...I like owning stuffs)

3.) Bought Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remaster limited Edition

4.) Then Pre-ordered Hometown Story with a Pochika Plushie for my Girlfriend who loves that game and company.

NEXT IS WHAT IM EXCITED ABOUT!

5.) Bought Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch!  JHDSBFHSDGFKSJHD SO GOOD!...soooo soo good!

Been a good week :D

It's like your list starts off good, then keeps getting worse.  Then plummets when you reach number five.

dragons dogma can't really be considered a jrpg :p

If you have a Vita, buy Ys: Memories of Celceta.

Will go nicely with the above list (which is great btw)

Hmm... well i would say a so-so week.

We'll see how you like them.
For me, FFX and 2 were games that were lukewarm in their time, but today they are quite good in comparison with the average JRPG we get.
Dragons dogma looked interesting but didnt manage to hold my atention for long.
Kingdom Hearts was good back in the PS2 era. Nowadays i dont think it holds very well compared to modern action games or the latest entries in the series.

Hometown i dont know anything about and ni no kuni i havent played much yet, its on my backcatalog.
So... i hope you have better times with those games than i did. ^^

You should've gotten Ys: Memories of celceta for some really good JRPG goodness. ;)
