Not really no. It's a good game for people who're into ps2 anime games that are not regarding to finitions. 

For other people, it's just a meh, over flawed anime games with little to no interest. 

Everyone was speaking about it on the vita thread. So I decided to pick one at my friend house, played it, and it's just MEH. The kind of meh that give you the urge to slap hard people that kept talking about it on every fucking page for 2 or 3 month. You have to forgive a lot of things in order to enjoy the game. The graphics are from another time. The story fail to maintain the logic up. There's little to no narration talent, the gameplay has nothing special and is not funny. And I won't mention the muddled artistic direction, it's just the kind of things any average japanese studio produce nowaday. There's to much effects on screen, the camera is way to far away from the character, they're dressed like an old episode of elemental gerad (And that will never be a compliment in this word), the anime scene are crap... 

No really, I'm kind of glad people won't link Ys and Ps Vita together. I know taste are relative. But relativity is also relative. And I think it's not just my opinion but what I said is just the case in fact.
