Screw Japan. The 360 was a great device and Japan showed they have virtually no interest in gaming from Western companies. M$ gave it a good try and spent a lot of money with nothing to show for it. Let Nintendo and Sony have Japan and let Microsoft focus on fighting battles they can actually benefit from.
