Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft's crusade against Google is lame

Google recommends videos from people I'm subscribed to even when I'm not logged into my profile. They have my random as youtube comments available on my Google Plus profile and I'm pretty sure I never gave permission. Somebody needs to put Google in their place.

I do wanna say...fuck Google+. Noone likes it and they're just forcing it on people through Youtube.

google has been shittier and shittier years after years for the past decade... they successfully proved that they can fuck up pretty much everything they touch.... android is the best example of how you can mess up Linux by making it a complete open door to any kind of hackery possible and render one of the most optimized OS as ridiculously broken as vista.... youtube is getting worst by the minute and google docs is just a joke.... gmail is cluttered like the DC beltway and well search is loosing ground little by little and has been stuck with close to zero innovation for a while... I went bing two years ago and never looked back.... google maps has better alternatives (always had actually).... and chrome I won't even comment on that I got more issues with that one on every PC I had than the worst IE version.... anyway GO GOOGLE, the pseudo geek hipster brand... not saying MS is better for everything than google but there sure are better alternatives for pretty much anything google does no doubt about that....

I will add that Bing is slowly but surely winning people over.

lol

Bing is going nowhere.

LOL

we will see.... Seems they have made it pretty far already. Google is always doing major privacy violations but this might not matter to you but as a whole it is a big deal.

you are 100% right
with googles privacy violations and Bing is needed in terms of competition=better for costumers.(best would be MS loosing 30% in OS/Office but getting 30% of search engine market share

but you also should mention that MS is since the 90ies in Bed with the NSA when you talk about privacy violation. You also seem to have forgotten how the xb1 looked like in terms of violations before the 180.

Some definite pot and kettle stuff going on here. The NSA scandals are still fresh in everyone's mind.

Genuinely can't believe Microsoft actually makes that stuff. Maybe they were trying to just be tongue in cheek, but there's no sense of playfulness so it comes off as bitter and hateful. It's ridiculous, and makes me want to actively avoid their products to be honest.

this is awesome. googles biggest problem is that our data is what lines their pocket books. and its good for ms to point it out. one of the reasons i dont use google products as much (mainly android) is its just stealing all your info for the highest bidder. MS charges for their services so they dont need your data as badly. And yes they all give it to the NSA (if the NSA doesnt just hack it on its own first). I always find it funny that people get so mad at other big corps for everything little thing they do, but google and apple seem to get passes from the same people. If MS treated your info like google, shit would fly.

Grabbing at straws is your thing, don't project that onto me.

Googling being in court means nothing. Companies go to court, get over it.

Microsoft has been in courts since 1999. I don't see you bringing that up. They even had to pay more a billion dollar in fine for one of their fiascos. Going to court is nothing out of the unusual for companies this big.

Ok you clearly don't pay attention, Have fun with that.

Is it hard for you to understand or something?

I just explained to you that this is nothing unusual. Now get over it.

No actually it is.

I don't need to get over anything. I can and will stand up for my rights as a consumer. People like you just may like your right violated but thats you, not us.

Your right? That's funny wheren't you going to get a xbone whatever happened, before the 180 happened? Which consumer rights are you talking about!?

Google is one of the most consumer friendly companies out there. Certainly much better than other companies it's size. Microsoft is just annoyed they can't beat Google in any field they compete in with them, so they come up with this shit, which you biasly support.

Counterstrike!

Microsoft - The company who was caught selling our personal data and skype calls to NSA - lol the mutha flipping irony

for those saying MS and google are the same. While they are each evil in their own ways, google is the worst about privacy and personal data. their business is built soley around the trading of your info for free software. MS gets their revenue from actual people who have to fork over their money. In this regard its more important for them to keep your data private as they want you to purchase their software again. if google cant get your info, than you are useless to them so their is no need for them to worry about you finding out and not paying for their service. if they cant have your info, you may as well not be their consumer. now when come to monopoly laws, or anti trust laws amongt companies, or any other big business issue, i agree MS is just as evil as google. but for user privacy i would trust any company over google.
