VitaTV did better than I thought it would, but still low for new hardware. I don't think it'll hold either. At least game sales (God Eater's anyway) are pretty good for Vita this week. For some reason there's a 10k difference between Media Create and Famitsu in 3DS hardware though.

Also glad WiiU is at least flat, hope we never have to see numbers like 2k ever again. And it seems like a lot of people are buying Wii Party U digitally.

Second time, but first time wans't the release week (3ds beat it thanks to Monster Hunter I think).  First was the second week of the price cut (accompanied by the release of Soul Sacrifice). Not sure if this is impressive or not, considering that vitatv will probably fail in Japan and that vita got its best/biggest (sort of) exclusive for Christmas.

vita outsells 3DS. never thought i'd see the day. ..well, after the first few weeks of abysmal vita sales.

Quite some IFs there. I think people were quite aware that digital is not counted in Famitsu/Media.

Damn i was 40k off with my GE2 predictions at least vita HW beat my expectations by 5k.

So, wiiu hold, hum. This holiday season is difficult to know what is good and bad, thing will get easier in january. Speaking of it, i'm certanly that last week had a game launching in wiiu, someone remember wich one?

I`m having a hard time to understand what is a Vita TV.

A vita TV is a PSVita without a screen. You connect it to the TV instead, just like a regular Playstation console. I am not sure if its digital only. It can do remote play to a different TV from your PS4 aswell, and it upscales Vita games to 1080i.

And wow Vita is N1 in sales in Japan this week. Moving 80k+ with the PSVitaTV.

I still think those PSP software sales are canibalizing Vita numbers. A 300k ++ opening would've been more impressive, but ah well... it was pretty good regardless. Hopefully this holds. The Vita deserves a better fate and the haters deserve to eat crow for not knowing what they are missing.

So will Vgchartz count vita tv sales as vita sales? They should. It's pretty much the same thing as tracking 3ds vs the XL hardware.

Good for GE2, although would've liked more based on COMG. As long as vita is successful enough to be of profit to Sony, I don't mind the 3ds destroying it.
