only a few games are hard these days.those are the stealth and platformer/puzzles games.the hardest game i played this year was the indie title gone home.after trying for 10 hours and finding no luck i had to use a guide.
I don't know about this year but I remember giving up on the Witcher 2 on the easiest setting. It was retarded, died in mere two hits from regular mobs.
Oh and I went and played Fatal Frame 2 about a year ago and jesus that final boss. One hit and KO (evading is hard as hell in that game). Never seen something so unforgiving.
I played both Demon's and Dark souls this year thanks to that any other game seems pretty easy as comparison.
