I agree with this and was thinking the same thing because i just don't believe someone could just walk into Gamestop (of all places) and pick up a non preordered PS4 then go back and pick up another replacement PS4.

You know, many sites are actually reporting that these events are really sparse and rare, Vgchartz is making it seem like every PS4 is broken...

My Gamestop has them as does Walmart and a few other locations... I was almost almost swayed into picking one up but with the failure rates so high. I will wait til the issues are fixed. Well that and there arent any good titles atm to play. Maybe Feb or March.

Sad to see some people go out of their way to defend Sony. I guess you dont really know them or the things they have done. A company like any other but they have done some really bad things in their time.
PS2 had a very high failure rate. So high Sony was sued over it and lost. They also charged consumers to fix something they openly knew was an issue.
They tried putting spyware on a lot of peoples PCs a few years back
They kept quiet about the PSN hack when people should have been notified sooner.
Sony is not your friend. They are not here to be your buddy. They do not do things just for your enjoyment. They are a company like any other and they have made mistakes just like any other company.

I'm guessing you haven't seen IGN. People are saying there are 400,000 bricked ps4's as if it were fact.

Calm down buddy. Sony/The world isn't out to get you. You'll enjoy yourself a lot more when you get that PS4. So just hold on till that time eh? ;)
