you want to know the real question?
why, after 10 years, has nintendo yet to put out a pokemon rpg on anything but handheld consoles (i can understand the n64, but come on, no gamecube or wii (as of yet)).

This question has been asked many times, lol. I'm holding out for a Wii MMO with 3d real-time battles. It would be cool to have real people wandering around instead of loads of NPCs that stay stationary 24/7.
This is the one MMO I think I'd get into.
I consider the Zelda series a rpg you gain stats/lvls by hearts and items, and there are mini quests. The only thing it doesn't have that makes it an rpg is character customization and role taking.

I always considered it an action/adventure with lots of items. :P

I guess they could be considered RGPs, but we're talking about taking the GB/DS Pokemon formula and bringing it to a home console.
