I don't remember hearing 15 hours?

No, I didn't buy it because it was called Final Fantasy and because of some things I read in reviews. Things I knew I would have serious issues with, but I don't remember what they were. As for the demo of Bravely Default, I assume the job mastery isn't capped at level 4 in the full game, because otherwise there will be no strong magic in the game. Although it's possible that there are sage jobs which use their own brands of magic that is stronger than what is available in the demo. In any case, I liked that each enemy nets at least 1 job point, unlike in, say, Final Fantasy V where points were handed out for battles. I think I've reached the end of the demo and just need to take down that last dragon. I've already mastered six of the nine jobs with each party member in about four hours of playtime. I should take the time and read through the descriptions of all abilities instead of relying mostly on brute force. I took the minotaurus down with black magic on each party member, because that was an effective strategy without applying any buffs or the like (something I rarely do in JRPGs, just like item usage). |
I don't think i have ever used a buff/debuff spell in a square enix game in general, if bravely default can get me to use them, then it's already done an amazing job as a game.

I think you mean one MORE Wii U game worth buying the console for.
Nice review. I see the haters came in with nothing to add to the topic. Was going to pass on this but I think I am going to get it now. With Watchdogs delayed I dont have a lot of gaming options atm anyway. Nothing coming out on PC I can think of so guess my holidays are going to be all Wii U games unless that changes
I really don´t trust IGN reviews.
Their reviewers and editors are unprofessional, extremely biased and sometimes even immature.
That´s not to say that 3D world is a bad game. On the contrary, I´m extremely hyped and I´m buying it day 1. But I´d never based my purchase decision on IGN reviews... again.
Big fail. But glad it got such a great score. Can't wait for this game!
Unabashedly creative huh, I seem to recall another thread where someone was trying argue the opposite, poor fellow.
Pre-ordered for me and the kids to enjoy! About time Nintendo

You have tons of games. ACIV, Batman, w101, deus ex, ghosts, pikmin 3 dlc, a ton of indie games and new VC, two new marvel games?, wii sports club, SM3DW, sonic lost world, windwaker, rayman legends, etc, etc, etc, these are just games that have come out within the past month or two...
