Forums - Sony - (Sony and Nintendo First Party Games last two years) Has Sony's First Party been disappointing for the past two years?

My thoughts

Beyond: Two Souls? Unfinished Swan? You're including everything Sony published as "first party"?

Also, handheld games and downloadable titles often get punished for being handheld games and downloadable titles.

Again, first party games.  Games owned by sony.

Although a lot of those games are EXTREMELY underrated, you do have a point. Sales wise, most of them were huge flops. It's a shame though. Hopefully the support will return to Ps4 in full force.

Well Jay, what do you think ?

Me? Yes Ive been dissapointed.  I've only bought a handful of games in the last two years(all consoles), most multiplat or downloadable.  ONly one has been a sony game(The Last of Us)

EDIT: Two.  Forgot I got Journey.

Doesn't really look different than usual.

Oh the irony.

I only counted 3 games under 70... how is that disappointing?

No

Underlined all the games I've played and loved. So I'd say no.

You're being foolish.  Enjoyment has nothing to do with this.  Your opinion should be based on Metacritic and nothing else.

I don't see anything on that list below a 70% average other than Knack. Sony has been doing a fantastic job with their first party lineup this gen. I could see them rivaling Nintendo with the PS4.
