From GAF.

84GB = three games installed.
84 GB OS (basically)???? And here I thought Window 8's 20sh GB was too much...
Edit: Nvm, Didn't see the 3 games installed, My bad
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
You'll never receive the full amount on the hard drive. My 80gb PS3 for example only lets me use something like 72?
500,000,000,000 bytes = 465.6 GB.
I am guessing that ~58 GB are reserved for the OS? Sounds rather high.
Edit: Missed some zeroes. Corrected.

You always receive the full amount on the drive. HDD manufacturers just report the free space differently than how your operating system does (base 10 vs base 2).

84GB is three games installed... OS + Default apps = 465GB - 408GB = ~58GB
I shall be putting a 1TB drive into my PS4 once it comes like I have done with my PS3

500 GB = 465.66 GiB
466 - 408 = 58 GB of reserved memory.
maybe tey reserved full RAM for hibernate mode = 8 GB?
