For me?  Survival Horror Games (Amnesia, Outlast, Slender, etc.)

I hate the horror genre in general (movies mostly) cause I'm a big scaredy cat.

I however adore watching others play these types games.  Makes it more fun to see their reactions (if not live then facecam Let's Plays).

I used to watch survival horror too.
But now I'm training myself not to be scared of it, so I'm playing horror games now.

i don't really like RTS (ie. Age of Empires), but i'll watch my buddy play, while i give him 'tactical advise' lol

I hate horror movies. I get really scared by them. I like survival horror games though, mostly Resident Evil, thanks to it's cheesy dialogue and not so serious tone xD.

Anyway the only genre I like to watch people play is Fighting games.

Resident Evil is more Action/Adventure Horror

While I liked ZombiU, and it was more survival than the RE series, its still also a Action/Adventure Horror

Survival Horror is more running and no killing, well minus you being munched on

Taking it in the ass.

Love watching it, but would never try it myself.

As for video games, sport genre.

Well yeah but I was refering to the older games. The first 3 where definitely survival horror games! Although they got more and more action oriented as the series evolved.

Survival horror would be games like, Silent Hill or amensia right? I liked Silent Hill but mostly for it's story. I played it at day time because I am a big scary cat xD.

Sports games.

So boring to play myself, but pretty fun to watch friends play.

Fighting games

I usually am the asshole in the back egging and pissing my friends off, but would never play myself lol
